Game summary

This was the deadliest match both teams have seen this season, with an amazing three deaths (All of cream Puffs linemen) a niggling injury (apothecary was called) and a smashed hand (mng) via foul all before the half ended; with a score of 1-1. The second half is where the miracle plays were made. It started with the Puffs being awarded touchback and ran hard down the sideline with their catcher who had the ball. DETH quickly blitzed him with Bull centaur and shoved the catcher to edge of the pitch and put an extra tz on him. The Puffs moved more men deeper into DETH's half, ran Twinkie, (the Puff's star Oger) in support of catcher, who then failed uphill blitz. The ball stayed on pitch after scatter. DETH's Minotaur, still high from the thrill of his first kill in turn one, charged Twinkie, killing him. The Chaos Dwarves spread out to cover the puffs. Twinkie's death have must have pissed off Nuffle, as what happened for the rest of the drive, could only be called divine intervention: The Puff's catcher once again did an uphill blitz, stunning the centaur, picked the ball in the Minotaur's tz, dodged away, and did two gfis, placing him next to the endzone. Two more players dodged into defensive position to guard the ball. DETH players swarm in and knock the ball loose. But the Human's bullshit continued with another successful uphill blitz, pick up in two tz's, and a dodge to score. DETH quickly tied it up, stampeding though the out numbered Puffs. In the fading minutes of the game, the humans ran as good of a shotgun play as they could given their numbers. DETH stuns half the Cream Puffs, but fail to knock the ball free. The Puffs thrower dodged away and ran around to a safe position and fired a short pass to a nearby catcher. The catchers nerves of steel saved the day as he snagged the ball, and ran as far as he could. A dodging blitz by DETH's Minotaur would be the dwarves last chance to stop the Puffs, but alas he would trip over his own hooves just before he could gore his target. A perfect defense would neuter these bulls, by making any one turn touchdowns impossible. In short the Cream Puffs played like elves, and they died like elves, but they sill limped away to a surprising 3-2 win
