Malfunctions with Carapace Stadium's retractable roof caused problems in todays game as the area was plagued by a rare down pour. The rains, aside from making the ball difficult to handle, seemed to keep fans away and once again the Scarab fans were outnumbered by visiting fans. Engineers are investigating the problem and hopefully things will be working for the last home game next week.

Scarab Promotions Finally Pay Off!!!

The Scarabs promotion team reels in the fans. The first 5,000 fans received foam Scarab hats. 18,000 fans showed up for the game, 10,000 of them being Scarab fans. With numbers like these CabalVision may be looking to add Scarab games to their regularly scheduled programing.

Scarabs franchise in early trouble!!!

The Scarabs home opener saw an abysmal 4,000 fans show up to cheer on the team. They were out numbered 3 to 1 by the visiting Elf team fans, the Woodchippers.

With the Scarabs having their first five games at home, they will be trying out some promotional ideas to bring the fans in. Their next game against the "new" New Orcland Saints will greet the first 5,000 fans with foam Scarab hats. So if you are in town, come on down to Carapace Stadium and support your local Scarabs!!!
