Congratulations to Dylan and About Tree Fiddy! Two pitch invasions decimated the Revenants'defense, including one to start overtime. As a consolation, the Revenants were able to recruit a new Wood Elf player.

Both coaches agreed that this was one of the closest matches of Blood Bowl in a long time. The game went well into overtime, being decided on turn 7 of OT. Fortune swung back and forth throughout the game. Captain Hook switched teams mid-game and was able to head home victorious (albeit as a zombie). This is how Blood Bowl playoffs should be!

High Society took advantage of the fact that the Lizards could do ABSOLUTELY nothing right. The lizards were tripping all over the field and at times couldn't even pick up the ball. The Elves on the other hand could not fail. Every little unbelievable play worked for the Elves.

The league officials are looking into this game. The Lizards suspected that the Elves had greased up themselves and the balls before the game.

Administrative win

In a surprisingly bashy match, these two quick teams ran up the score relatively early, with the Mighty Quins proving their might by out-removing the R.A.T.S in the first half. Luckily, the R.A.T.S had purchased Headsplitter to erm... split some heads. He split a few, but not enough to make up for the early removals. After a failed one-turn attempt, the score was 3-2 in favor of the Elves at the end of the first half. The teams were weary, but the R.A.T.S made another quick score, followed by a quick response by the Elves, and a blitz for them. There was a bit of a scuffle for the ball, and just as one of the gutter runners thought he had a path cleared to threaten a score, he rolled double 1s on a needless dodge to turn over the ball. The Mighty Quins picked up the ball and sealed the game with another TD.

It was a game with a lot of armor breaks, and quite a few double 1s on both sides.

The fans were expecting another Hot Elf on Elf barn burner, but High Society's Coach did not show up on time. A suitable coach was found for the first half but unfortunately for the fans, it was a Dwarven coach. The first half consisted of High Society receiving the ball and methodically marching down field to stall until the last possible minute. The joke was on them though, for they kicked to the Buddies who promptly scored a one turn TD. The half ended in a 1-1 tie.

Society kicked back to the Buddies to start the second half, but I think the Buddies were still celebrating their amazing first half TD, because the Society stole the ball and scored the go ahead TD. Now the Buddies where REALLY ready to play. They received the ball again, and once again, the Society charged in to take the ball almost scoring a third TD but for an incomplete pass.

A highly tactical match whose outcomewas decided in the last turns.
